Last Updated: 14.12.2021-111895883

Introduction and Overview

We have written this privacy policy (version 14.12.2021-111895883) to explain to you in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and applicable national laws, which personal data (short data) we as controllers - and the processors commissioned by us (e.g. providers) - process, will process in the future and what legal possibilities you have. The terms used are not to be understood in a gender-specific way.

Scope of Application

This privacy policy applies to all personal data processed by us, both in the context of providing our services and in particular on our websites, in mobile applications and within external online presences, such as our social media profiles.

The privacy policy applies to all areas in which personal data is processed by us in a structured manner.

Legal Foundations

In the following, we list the legal foundations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of which we process personal data:

  • Consent (Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a GDPR)
  • Contract fulfillment and pre-contractual inquiries (Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. b GDPR)
  • Legal obligation (Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. c GDPR)
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6 paragraph 1 lit. f GDPR)

Storage Duration

That we only store personal data for as long as is absolutely necessary for the provision of our services and products applies as a general criterion for us. This means that we delete personal data as soon as the reason for data processing no longer exists. In some cases, we are legally obliged to store certain data even after the original purpose has ceased, for example for accounting purposes.

Rights under the General Data Protection Regulation

According to the provisions of the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), you generally have the following rights:

  • Right to information (Article 15 GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR)
  • Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") (Article 17 GDPR)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
  • Right to object (Article 21 GDPR)

Security of Data Processing

To protect personal data, we have implemented both technical and organizational measures. Where possible, we encrypt or pseudonymize personal data. This makes it as difficult as possible within our capabilities for third parties to infer personal information from our data. Art. 25 GDPR speaks here of "data protection by design and by default" and means that both software (e.g. forms) and hardware (e.g. access to the server room) should always think about security and take appropriate measures. On our website we use secure TLS encryption. You can recognize this by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from http:// to https:// and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

Communication

When you contact us and communicate by telephone, email or online form, personal data may be processed. The data is processed for the handling and processing of your question and the related business transaction. The data remains with us as long as required by law.

Cookies

Our website uses HTTP cookies to store user-specific data. A cookie is a short data packet that is exchanged between web browser and web server. These can only be read by us and store various information. Through cookies, we can make the website more user-friendly and facilitate navigation on our website.

You can decide in your browser whether you want to allow cookies or not. Please note that if cookies are deactivated, the functionality and appearance of our website may be severely restricted.

Web Hosting

What is web hosting? When you visit websites nowadays, certain information - including personal data - is automatically created and stored, including on this website. This data should be processed as sparingly as possible and only with justification. By website, we mean the totality of all web pages on your domain, i.e. everything from the home page to the very last subpage (like this one here). By domain we mean, for example, example.com or sampleexample.com.

If you want to view a website on a computer, tablet or smartphone, you use a program called a web browser. Well-known web browsers are, for example, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge and Opera. The web browser must connect to another computer where the website code is stored: the web server. Operating a web server is a complicated and time-consuming task, which is why it is usually handled by professional providers.

Instagram Privacy Policy

We have built Instagram functions into our website. Instagram is a social media platform of the company Instagram LLC, 1601 Willow Rd, Menlo Park CA 94025, USA. Instagram has been a subsidiary of Meta Platforms Inc. since 2012 and belongs to the Facebook products. Embedding Instagram content on our website is called embedding. This allows us to show you content such as buttons, photos or videos from Instagram directly on our website. When you visit web pages of our website that have an Instagram function integrated, data is transmitted, stored and processed to Instagram. Instagram uses the same systems and technologies as Facebook. Your data is thus processed across all Facebook companies.

Google Fonts Privacy Policy

On our website we use Google Fonts. These are the "Google fonts" of the company Google Inc. For the European area, the company Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street Dublin 4, Ireland) is responsible for all Google services. You do not need to register or leave a password to use Google fonts. Furthermore, no cookies are stored in your browser.

The files (CSS, fonts) are requested via the Google domains fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. According to Google, requests for CSS and fonts are completely separate from all other Google services. If you have a Google account, you don't need to worry that your Google account data will be transmitted to Google while using Google Fonts. Google records the use of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and the fonts used and stores this data securely.

Review Platforms

We use various online review platforms to monitor and improve the quality of our services. When you submit a review about us, your data is processed according to the privacy policies of the respective platform.
